Making Buckeye Necklaces

It doesn't feel like fall, but the trees are dropping Buckeyes on the road where the construction has been taking place (We were told that the road will be OPEN tomorrow night!! Only 3 months to pave a one mile stretch). Evie ran over to show the neighbor kids her necklace. They are from Philly and have never seen buckeyes. We think it is in the oath of the members of the Buckeye nation to share the craft of buckeye necklace making. Here are Andrew and Evie with their completed necklaces working on Brianne's necklace. Brianne is 11 and was a very good sport about wearing buckeyes...probably as long as none of her friends saw her. Stinks just crawls around and tries to eat mulch when no one is looking.
