What we have been up to this week

It was a busy week here. Lots of stuff going on, but mom didn't have time to document everything on the blog. Annalise and Evie try out Evie's new microphone. Evie received it from Marin at Seibert Christmas. Now we have daily "shows". The first time Annalise heard her voice over the radio, she cracked up.
We had a treat of carmel apples to get ourselves in the mood for Halloween. It's unseasonably warm here. Definately warmer than what our MN blood is used too. So we do whatever it takes to get in the fall mood.

Annalise also tackles her carmel apple. She ate almost half of it before giving up. You wouldn't believe how many nuts were on the floor. Also another good shot of the new hairdo.

Then we carved our pumpkins. Evie contimplates what her pumpkin will look like.
Annalise also designed a pumpkin. Look at that concentration.

Evie starts to scoop out the goop.

Both girls hard at work. No squimish girls here with pumpkin guts.

We also had our first "fire" of the year on one of the chillier evenings this week. Good news, no squirrel nests in the chimney.

And Dad's major award --"the leg lamp"--arrived this week. We are so proud of our innovative Dad. Now what are we supposed to do with this thing? I guess we could put it in the front window.
