Evie's first day of Preschool.

Today is Evie's first day of Preschool. She is going on Wednesdays and Fridays from 9 to noon at a church just around the corner. She is super excited to go. This morning, she was up before the sun and ready to get dressed to go to school. Here she is with her Hello Kitty backpack (empty of course).
This is the face of a sponge ready to soak up some learnin'. I can't believe this day is here. Seems like just yesterday that she was born. Pretty soon she'll be smoking cigarettes behind the bus barn (do they even have bus barns anymore?)
Evie and her friend Jack (who lives just down the street from us) are in the same class. They were so excited to go to school that they could barely stop for a picture.

And poor old mom. After a few tears, I am looking forward to putting Annalise down for a nap and doing some old fashioned house cleaning. Now if only Annalise would go to sleep....
