March Madness

It's the most wonderful time of the year. March Madness, Baby! We took part in the ritual end of winter by attending the Women's Big Ten Championship game. Purdue vs. Illinois. Boiler Up--again, we still don't know what that means.Here are the Purdue faithful getting ready for the game to start. Annalise wasn't so sure about the Fieldhouse when we went in, but she warmed up and cheered and screamed and clapped at completely inappropriate times. Evie was excited about the pom pons and the bands.
Evie didn't need the whole seat.. just the edge.
Here's the opening tipoff. Conseco might be the greatest place in the world to watch basketball.
Annalise also only needs the edge. Mostly because when she sat back, the chair folded up.
Of course, what is a game without refreshements? Mom brought Lunchables for the girls and later we shared a popcorn.

By the way, the game was pretty exciting in the last few minutes. It was all tied up and a shot at the buzzer won the Championship for Purdue! Go Boilers!
