08.08.08
What an awesome day. First off, the Olympics started. Not just 15 days of competition, but 15 days of the brilliant newscasting of the greatest sportscaster that has ever lived---Bob Costas, you are the reason that we watch the Olympics. You deserve at least 2 more associates degrees. Maybe Uncle Bran can grant you one now that he's a fancy dancy professor.
But wait, it was also our 10 year anniversary.
Here we are looking not too sweaty. Most of the memories that surround our wedding start with "it was so hot!". Yes, we remember too.
But maybe the best thing that happened on 8.8.08 was the arrival of our newest niece, Tessa Catherine
She weighed in at 7-12 and is 21 inches long. We can't wait to see her next weekend. By the way, I think that since she was born on our anniversary, we should have naming rights. How about Tessa Catherine Dairy Queen Blizzard Seibert?

I got the spelling of Tessa's middle name wrong last night. It is supposed to be Catherine. It was a long day yesterday.
