Fall Day

It was really windy here this afternoon. A cold front was blowing through and Evie described it as a "tragic" windstorm. I asked her what tragic meant and she said "really big". I don't know where she heard that word but she is picking up more things that I know. Here's Evie being wind blown. The wind blew all the leaves out of our yard into the neighbor's yard. Less raking for us.
We do have a spot in the yard that the leaves accumulate. In the interest of opening the gate to the backyard, we raked them into a big pile and then jumped on them.

Annalise takes a rest in the leaf house. Take note! For the girl who doesn't like to wear a coat, she has her coat on, and mittens and a hat! It didn't last long.

Two goofballs playing in the leaves

This is some X-treme leaf pile jumping.

This may give you an idea how windy it was today.
