Everyone loves a Parade

I really hadn't planned much for the day. Drop Evie off at school, do some laundry, make some soup. Evie and Annalise had other plans. It started by them deciding that it would be a good day to wear dresses and tights. Ok, it's a little on the cold side, but as long as they were dressing themselves.
Later, after school, Evie and Annalise were playing so well together. Evie was helping Annalise affix additional animals onto the animal train. They decided that this would be a float and they would have a parade when dad got home.
Here they are with the animals rubber banded to the train. They did this all themselves. Very resourceful.

Annalise takes a closer look at the animals to make sure they are all safe. They spent a lot of time rehearsing and making trial runs. It truly kept them busy for a good hour.

Evie even made tickets. She also made a basket for the tickets. She also used up an entire roll of scotch tape making her crafts.

Here we are with our tickets waiting for the parade to start. There was also seating set up inthe dining room complete with pillows to sit on.

And here comes the parade. We also were showered with things Evie made for each one of us.

The float as it goes by.

Annalise also had to take the float for a spin and handed out prizes.

It was probably the greatest parade that has ever come through our dining room.
