Family Fun

We subscribe to a magazine called Family Fun. It is chocked full of super fun ideas for families to do together. Most ideas involve the mom or dad doing 90% of the work and the kids coming in to do the final sprinkles of glitter. Because of this, we don't do many of the activities, but we sure enjoy reading about them. In this past issue, there is an activity that mom thought we could all pitch in on. It is making cupcakes with little candy lawn mowers on top. Annalise places the body of the lawn mower on the coconut grass.

Ok, an up close shot. The M&M 's are wheels and the one on top is the engine. The licorice is the handle. Do you see it now? (the grass was supposed to be green, but it seemed to have a bluish cast. Maybe it's Kentucky Bluegrass)

Evie isn't quite as messy. that's a surprise.

Tastes as good as it looks. At least the frosting and candy portion. I'm not sure she ate any cake.
