Santa ruined Christmas

Yep, Santa ruined Christmas. More onthat later. Evie got off the bus today with no hat on. Instead she was wearing this lovely crown that she made in free choice. I think the bus driver liked it.

Ok, so in our "24 super fun days of Advent", tonight's activity was to go visit Santa. We convinced the girls to wear pretty dresses and look nice so we could have a picture taken. But, when we arrived,Santa was no where to be seen. Now mind you, we were there during his posted hours and everything! Maybe there was a toy emergency at the North Pole that he had to attend to.
Not wanting to waste an opportunity for a picture of clean, dressed girls, we snapped some shots in front of the Christmas tree.

Instead of seeing Santa, we did some Shopping at Dick's and then went for a drive to see the famous "Blinking light house"--the house with lights set to music. It was impressive. Next time we'll take the video camera and share it with you.

We are also practicing for the upcoming family picture. Cheese.
